Habitar las afueras. Experiencia de Dios en tiempos de crisis

Abstract

El trance existencial y creyente, en el que la crisis mundial provocada por la pandemia del Covid 19 ha puesto a los hombres y mujeres contemporáneos, se ha convertido en un útero en el que, sin premura, se gesta y fortalece una experiencia renovada e interpelante de Dios. En este artículo nos proponemos reflexionar en cómo todo lo que sucede y afecta dejando profundas huellas, alcanza también al corazón, donde el Espíritu habita y se revela, moviendo interiormente a acoger y discernir la presencia de Dios, a adorarle y confesarle en el entramado desconcertante de los acontecimientos. En esta encrucijada, con todo lo que conlleva de incertidumbre e intemperie, y con todo lo que suscita de creatividad y energías al servicio de lo humano, se abre paso una experiencia renovada de Dios, la fe confiada y esperanzada crece, se ahonda e invita a habitar las afueras cuidando la vulnerabilidad, especialmente cuando ésta es vulnerada. La reflexión teológica puede ofrecer en esta coyuntura excepcional, como lo ha hecho a lo largo de la historia, claves para pensar, dialogar, discernir y acompañar la experiencia de Dios y el compromiso por la transformación de las sociedades actuales en una nueva creación.

he existential and believing trance, in which the global crisis caused by the Covid 19 pandemic has placed contemporary men and women, has become a womb in which, without haste, a renewed and challenging experience of God is gestated and strengthened. In this article we propose to reflect on how everything that happens and affects, leaving deep traces, also reaches the heart, where the Spirit dwells and reveals Himself, moving us interiorly to welcome and discern the presence of God, to adore and confess Him in the bewildering web of events. At this crossroads, with all that it entails in terms of uncertainty and weathering, and with all that it brings about in terms of creativity and energy in the service of the human, a renewed experience of God opens the way, a confident and hopeful faith grows, deepens and invites us to inhabit the outskirts, taking care of vulnerability, especially when it is violated. Theological reflection can offer at this exceptional juncture, as it has done throughout history, keys to think, dialogue, discern and accompany the experience of God and the commitment to the transformation of today's societies into a new creation.
