Resumen : El objetivo del presente estudio es investigar las diferencias en los síntomas ansiosos y depresivos
en función de las variables familiares dinámica, vínculo e impacto familiar del diagnóstico y la
relación entre dichos síntomas y el cansancio del cuidador. Para ello se obtuvo una muestra de
168 pacientes, 96 hombres y 72 eran mujeres y sus familias del programa hospital Reina Sofía de
Córdoba. Las variables familiares y los niveles de ansiedad y depresión fueron recogidos por
psicólogos especializados en el área de cuidados paliativos, mientras que la variable cansancio
del cuidador se midió a través de la escala ZARIT reducida. Las pruebas empleadas para
determinar si existen diferencias significativas fueron el T-test para muestras independientes y
ANOVA. No se encontraron evidencias de diferencias en los síntomas ansiosos y depresivos en
función de las variables familiares ni tampoco relación entre dichos síntomas y el cansancio en el
rol del cuidador.; The aim of the present study is to investigate the differences in anxious and depressive symptoms
according to the family variables: Dynamic, link and family impact of the diagnosis and the
relationship between these symptoms and the fatigue of the caregiver. For this purpose, a sample
of 168 patients was obtained, 96 men and 72 women and their families from the Reina Sofia
hospital program in Córdoba. The family variables and levels of anxiety and depression were
collected by psychologists specialized in the area of palliative care, while the variable fatigue of
the caregiver was measured through the reduced ZARIT scale. The tests used to determine if there
are significant differences were the T-test for independent samples and ANOVA. No evidence
was found of differences in anxious and depressive symptoms depending on the family variables
or relationship between these symptoms and fatigue in the role of the caregiver
