    <title>Workplace toxicity and its association with innovative behavior and work engagement among nurses: A cross-sectional study.</title>
    <link>http://hdl.handle.net/11531/110275</link>
    <description>Título : Workplace toxicity and its association with innovative behavior and work engagement among nurses: A cross-sectional study.
Autor : Awad, Bilal
Resumen : .; Background: Workplace toxicity, including harassment, incivility, and discrimination, remains a&#xD;
critical challenge in healthcare settings. Such negative behaviors can affect nurses’ well-being and&#xD;
may limit their ability to remain engaged and contribute innovative ideas, both of which are&#xD;
essential for improving patient care and organizational performance.&#xD;
Aim: This study aimed to examine the impact of workplace toxicity on innovative behavior and&#xD;
work engagement among nurses in healthcare institutions in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.&#xD;
Methods: A cross-sectional correlational design was used, involving 185 registered nurses&#xD;
selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using validated instruments: the&#xD;
Workplace Toxicity Scale, Individual Innovative Behavior Scale, and Utrecht Work Engagement&#xD;
Scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and linear regression.&#xD;
Results: Participants reported moderate levels of workplace toxicity (M = 24.41, SD = 7.11),&#xD;
alongside high levels of innovative behavior (M = 40.19, SD = 3.87) and work engagement (M =&#xD;
47.63, SD = 4.94). No significant differences were found across sociodemographic or clinical&#xD;
characteristics (p &gt; 0.05). Workplace toxicity was significantly and negatively correlated with&#xD;
innovative behavior (r = −0.638, p &lt; 0.001) and work engagement (r = −0.753, p &lt; 0.001).&#xD;
Regression analysis showed that workplace toxicity significantly predicted lower innovative&#xD;
behavior (β = −0.347, p &lt; 0.001; R² = 0.407) and work engagement (β = −0.523, p &lt; 0.001; R² =&#xD;
0.567).&#xD;
Conclusion: Workplace toxicity has a substantial negative impact on nurses’ innovative behavior&#xD;
and work engagement. Creating supportive and respectful work environments is essential to&#xD;
sustain nurse performance, enhance innovation, and maintain high-quality healthcare delivery

    <title>Intersecciones discursivas: androcentrismo, especismo y capitalismo</title>

    <description>Título : Intersecciones discursivas: androcentrismo, especismo y capitalismo
The chapter analyses the discursive intersections between androcentrism, speciesism and capitalism in the main Spanish interest groups linked to meat production, animal experimentation and entertainment based on the use of nonhuman animals. It shows that these discourses share a homogeneous rhetoric based on non-inclusive language, the omission of sexual difference, the rationalisation of exploitation and the feminisation of concern for animals. The analysis also identifies speciesist strategies, including the hierarchical separation between humans and animals, the suppression of sentience, objectification and the ranking of species according to human interests. Finally, the chapter highlights a capitalist framing centred on productivity, economic benefit and the altruistic presentation of industrial activities. Taken together, these elements form a discursive coalition that legitimises and reinforces animal exploitation.

    <title>Circling the Sustainable: A Systematic Review of Theories and the Heroic (or not) Leaders Steering to Corporate Sustainability, Circular Economy and Eco-innovation Transition</title>

    <description>Título : Circling the Sustainable: A Systematic Review of Theories and the Heroic (or not) Leaders Steering to Corporate Sustainability, Circular Economy and Eco-innovation Transition
La revisión de 45 estudios permite identificar las teorías más utilizadas, las infrautilizadas y dos arquetipos de liderazgo vinculados a la transición sostenible.; Understanding the leaders who guide SMEs transitioning towards corporate sustainability, circular economy, and eco-innovations is crucial for enhancing knowledge about the relationship between these leaders’ characteristics and the transition to new sustainable paradigms for SMEs. However, despite the interconnectedness of corporate sustainability, circular economy, and eco-innovations, existing literature on their drivers is fragmented, often focusing on internal and external factors without isolating the role of leaders. This study allows us to delimit the most appropriate theoretical framework to analyse the behaviour of SME leaders to face the sustainability challenge after carrying a systematic literature review following the PRISMA method. The review of 45 studies identifies the theories most frequently used, underutilized perspectives, and two leader archetypes involved in sustainability and circular economy transitions.

    <link>http://hdl.handle.net/11531/110249</link>
Our research has focused on the symbol of fire as purifying love as it appears in the poetry and prose of John of the Cross. Such a fire is shown as an anticipation, in this life, of experiences similar to those of purgatory. The three parts into which we have divided the work are based on three molds or academic disciplines, which are: symbology, phenomenology and performativity (within pragmalinguistics). Two works and symbols of the studied author are key here: the Dark Night, on the one hand, but above all the Living Flame of Love.
