El tráfico de hachís mediante narcolanchas en el Estrecho de Gibraltar

Abstract

El tráfico de drogas es un problema a nivel global, especialmente en zonas como el Estrecho de Gibraltar, que se ha consolidado como uno de los principales puntos de entrada de hachís en Europa. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar el fenómeno del tráfico de hachís en esta zona, con especial atención a los factores que favorecen su desarrollo, al uso de narcolanchas por parte de las organizaciones criminales y a la respuesta estatal frente a este fenómeno. Para ello, se ha realizado una revisión bibliográfica de artículos científicos, informes institucionales y fuentes periodísticas relacionadas con el tema. Los hallazgos muestran que en el tráfico de hachís en el Estrecho influyen factores geográficos y criminales, así como a la capacidad de adaptación de las organizaciones dedicadas a estas actividades ilícitas. Esto pone en manifiesto que se trata de un fenómeno complejo que requiere medidas policiales, legislativas y sociales.

Drug trafficking is a global issue, particularly in areas such as the Strait of Gibraltar, which has become one of the main entry points for hashish into Europe. The aim of this study is to analyze the phenomenon of hashish trafficking in this region, with particular attention to the factors that facilitate its development, the use of high-speed boats by criminal organizations, and the state response to this phenomenon. To achieve this, a bibliographic review of scientific articles, institutional reports, and journalistic sources related to the topic was conducted. The findings show that hashish trafficking in the Strait is influenced by geographical and criminal factors, as well as by the ability of criminal organizations involved in these illicit activities to adapt. This highlights that it is a complex phenomenon that requires police, legislative, and social measures.
