Enfermería estética: Análisis de riesgos y soluciones en el uso de rellenos dérmicos reabsorbibles

Abstract

Introducción: la estética siempre ha estado presente en el ser humano, siendo un concepto clave en el desarrollo de la vida, con un significado e impacto mucho más profundo y complejo que la pura vanidad que tienen implícita la palabra estética. La medicina, ha conseguido integrarla en su disciplina, permitiendo que arte y ciencia confluyan para dar lugar a especialidades sanitarias que permiten crear, transformar, reparar y modificar la fisionomía humana. La importancia exponencial de la población hacia estas especialidades ha orientado sus servicios tratamientos e intervenciones con mínimos efectos adversos, precios asequibles y recuperaciones prácticamente inmediatas. Produciendo un mayor interés hacia la medicina estética, evitando la agresión de la cirugía plástica, otorgando a los rellenos reabsorbibles la corona en la jerarquía de la cartera de servicios que ofrecen. Los rellenos reabsorbibles no están exentos de complicaciones y los profesionales sanitarios que los manejan deben de saber identificarlos y tratarlos. Las complicaciones con los rellenos son muy variadas, desde interacciones inmunitarias, infecciones locales o sistémicas, migraciones, hasta oclusiones vasculares de urgencia donde la correcta y rápida ejecución del sanitario es clave para su resolución. Objetivo: definir las complicaciones que el uso de rellenos reabsorbibles puede producir y establecer los tratamientos para su resolución.

Introduction: Aesthetic has always been present in human beings, being a key concept in the development of life, with a meaning and impact much deeper and more complex than the mere vanity implied by the word aesthetics. Medicine has succeeded in integrating it into its discipline, allowing art and science to converge to give rise to healthcare specialties that enable the creation, transformation, repair, and modification of the human physiognomy. The exponential importance of the population towards these specialties has oriented their services towards treatments and interventions with minimal adverse effects, affordable prices, and practically immediate recoveries. This has generated a greater interest in aesthetic medicine, avoiding the aggression of plastic surgery, granting absorbable fillers the crown in the hierarchy of the services they offer. Absorbable fillers are not exempt from complications, and healthcare professionals handling them must be able to identify and treat them. Complications with fillers are diverse, ranging from immune interactions, local or systemic infections, migrations, to urgent vascular occlusions where the correct and rapid execution by the healthcare provider is crucial for their resolution. Objective: Defining complications that the use of resorbable fillings can produce and establish the treatments for resolution. Methodology: A systematic revision will be performed
