Climatización de un hospital en Madrid

Abstract

El proyecto consta de cálculos y decisiones necesarias para la climatización de un hospital en Madrid. Es un hospital que cuenta con doce plantas, con nueve de ellas a climatizar.

Partiendo de los planos de la arquitectura se realiza el calculo de cargas de los espacios. Se definen las cargas y condiciones interiores, materiales de la construcción y condiciones exteriores. Con ello se obtiene el caudal de aire y demanda térmica de los espacios. Los espacios pueden estar climatizados mediante Fan-Coils o por las Unidades de Transmisión de aire. La zona de enfermería es climatizada mediante Fan-Coils, cuyos circuitos de conductos y tuberías se dimensionan en el presente proyecto.

Posteriormente se extrapolaran los resultados para obtener las demandas del hospital completo. Se obtienen los datos de potencia térmica (frigorífica y de calefacción), caudales de aire de los espacios y caudal de agua para la correcta climatización.

Con ello se seleccionan los equipos. Estos se deciden buscando en catálogos y eligiendo dependiendo de sus características. Se busca poder cubrir la demanda del edificio de la manera más eficiente y sostenible posible. En el proyecto se realiza un presupuesto completo de los elementos dimensionados. Finalmente se expone como este trabajo cumple con los Objetivos de desarrollo sostenible.

The project consists of the calculations and decisions required for climatization system of a hospital in Madrid. It is a hospital with twelve floors, nine of which require air conditioning.

Based on the architectural drawings, the heat load calculations for the spaces are carried out. Internal loads and indoor conditions are defined, as well as construction materials and external conditions. From this, the air flow rates and thermal demand of the spaces are obtained. The spaces can be air-conditioned either by fan-coils or by air handling units. The nursing area is air-conditioned using fan-coils, and the ductwork and piping systems for these are sized in this project.

Subsequently, the results are extrapolated to obtain the demands of the entire hospital. Data on thermal power (cooling and heating), air flow rates of the spaces, and water flow rates required for proper air conditioning are obtained.

Based on this, the equipment is selected. This is done by consulting catalogs and choosing according to their characteristics. The aim is to meet the building’s demand in the most efficient and sustainable way possible. The project includes a full cost estimate of the designed components. Finally, it presents how this work complies with the Sustainable Development Goals.
