AI and autonomous weapons

Abstract

En esta tesis presento la integración de la inteligencia artificial en las armas autónomas y cómo esto entra en conflicto con la ética militar y la seguridad internacional. Se revisa la literatura con el objetivo de comprender las cuestiones planteadas por los investigadores. Se ofrece una guía sobre cómo aplicar la metodología para explorar este tema y obtener las mejores conclusiones, abordando diversos aspectos relevantes.

In this thesis I present the integration of artificial intelligence into autonomous weapons and how these clashes with military ethics and international security. Literature is reviewed with the objective of understanding the issues that scholars have raised. I give a guideline of how methodology should be applied in order to explore this topic to get the best conclusions touching upon different relevant aspects.
