A partir de salmos de aflicción y de figuras como Ana, David, Noemí, Rut, Marta, María o la mujer pecadora, examina cómo la Escritura acoge el dolor humano sin negarlo ni edulcorarlo. La obra muestra que la Biblia convierte el lamento, la culpa, el duelo y la fragilidad en espacios de encuentro con Dios, y presenta la esperanza no como evasión del sufrimiento, sino como fidelidad que atraviesa la noche y abre a una vida nueva.
