Abstract

La esterilidad es un mal que ha afligido a la humanidad desde sus albores, rompiendo la esperanza y el futuro de hombres y mujeres de todos los tiempos. Este libro nos acerca a la esterilidad en la Historia desde una triple mirada: en primer lugar, la mirada de quienes han buscado dar una explicación y un remedio, los hombres de ciencia; en segundo lugar, la mirada de quienes han intentado darle un sentido, hombres de fe y profunda humanidad; y, finalmente, la mirada de quienes la han sufrido como si de su propia muerte se tratara, las mujeres.
