Estación de servicio "La Gaviota"

Abstract

El proyecto E.S. La Gaviota consiste en la construcción de una estación de servicio en la localidad de Puerto de la Torre, Málaga. La oportunidad surge con la creación de la autopista AP-46 y aprovechando el nudo de conexión con la autovía A-7. Ambas vías cuentan con un tráfico de vehículos ligeros y pesados que unido a la distancia a las estaciones de servicio más próximas asegura una demanda adecuada. Además al encontrarse próximo a una capital de provincia puede beneficiarse del tráfico local y del de acceso desde la ciudad a dichas vías. El emplazamiento elegido se encuentra junto a la rotonda que da acceso a ambas vías y que permite así mismo una entrada y salida sin necesidad de realizar desvíos incómodos. En el diseño de la estación de servicio se ha buscado tanto la viabilidad comercial como la innovación y funcionalidad.

The project of the gas station ’La Gaviota’ (The Seagull) is aimed at the construction of a service station in the outskirts of Puerto de la Torre, Málaga. The opportunity arises with the new AP-46 motorway, and specifically its junction with the A-7. Both roads have light and heavy vehicles? traffic and the lack of other gas stations nearby ensures adequate demand. In addition, being close to a large town, will add local traffic and that of the vehicles travelling from the city to the motorways. The selected site is adjacent to the roundabout which gives access to both roads (A-7 and AP-46) and it also allows for entry and exit without the need of long detours to arrive from, ant to get back to the motorways. The design of the service station pursues both commercial viability and innovation.
