Estrés y burnout en profesionales de enfermería de quirófano

Abstract

El estrés y el síndrome de burnout, conocido como síndrome de estar quemado, pueden llegar a obstaculizar la labor de los profesionales de enfermería, y haciendo caer la calidad asistencial que proporcionan al paciente. Objetivo El presente estudio pretende realizar una medición, del nivel de estrés y burnout de los profesionales de enfermería de los servicios de quirófano de diferentes hospitales de la comunidad de Madrid, y así poder presentar unos datos, representativos de nuestra región. Material y método En el estudio se tomará una muestra de enfermeras del servicio de quirófano. Se les entregarán unos cuestionarios para realizar, los cuales reflejarán sus datos sociodemográficos, su nivel de burnout, y de estrés, los cuales serán posteriormente analizados con estadística descriptiva.

Stress and burnout syndrome, known as burnout, may hamper the work of nurses, and driving down the quality of care provided to the patient. Objective This study attempts to make a measurement, about the level of stress and burnout of nurses of surgery in different hospitals in the Madrid region and thus be able submit a data representative of this region. Methods The study will take a sample of nurses from surgery units, and will be given questionnaires to perform, which reflect their demographic data, their level of burnout and stress, which will be subsequently analyzed with descriptive statistic.
