Especificaciones técnicas de modelización de sujección y seguridad de cargas para el transporte de mercancías

Abstract

El proyecto abordado consiste en realizar las especificaciones técnicas para la consecución de un programa informático que permita mejorar la sujeción y la seguridad de las cargas en el transporte de mercancías por carretera, basándose en la norma española UNE-EN 12195- 1:2010. El programa facilitará al cargador un informe completo en el que se publicarán los datos necesarios para evitar errores. Estos informes se denominan FICHAS DE ESTIBA, y son una o varias hojas en las que se plasman los datos básicos para realizar la estiba de una mercancía en concreto. Estas fichas suelen llevar gráficos en los que se indica al cargador la distribución. Para llegar a dicha Ficha de Estiba, el usuario del programa debe rellenar los datos correspondientes a su vehículo utilizado y a la carga que desea transportar. Con estos datos, el programa realiza los cálculos pertinentes, recomienda un tipo de trincaje al usuario y devuelve además el número de amarres necesarios o las fuerzas correspondientes al tipo de trincaje elegido. El programa que se ha desarrollado va dirigido a empresas de transporte, camioneros, la guardia civil, inspectores… Todos ellos se podrán beneficiar de su uso. Por un lado los camioneros o transportistas podrán utilizarlo para asegurarse de que sujetan bien las cargas que vayan a transportar, y por otro lado los inspectores y la Guardia Civil podrán utilizarlo para realizar los diferentes controles de seguridad necesarios en carretera y asegurarse que se cumple con las normas UNE. Situado el contexto del proyecto, a continuación se expone la motivación real para realizarlo.En primer lugar es importante cubrir la laguna existente en la que hay problemas de seguridad y numerosos accidentes por errores de trincaje. Esta laguna afecta tanto a la seguridad de las personas como a la de las mercancías, por lo que se considera el motivo más determinante para la realización de este proyecto. Como se menciona a lo largo del proyecto, hoy en día no existe un programa como el que se está realizando, ni en España ni en la mayoría del mundo, por lo que con él se está abriendo un abanico de posibles mejoras en el sistema de transporte de cargas.

The addressed project consists on performing the technical specifications to achieve a computer program that allows better safety and security of loads in road transport, based on the Spanish standard UNE-EN 12195-1:2010. The program will provide a full report to the charger. In such report, the necessary data to avoid errors will be included. These reports are called Stowage Card / Sheet, and they are formed by one or more sheets in which the basic and relevant data is captured for stowage of particular goods. These sheets usually have different charts that indicate the charger how to load the truck. To achieve this Stowage Card or sheet, the program user has to fill in the corresponding data of his/her vehicle and of the load he/she is willing to transport. With this data, the program performs the relevant calculations, recommends the user a specific type of lashing to use, and also returns the number of needed lashes or the corresponding forces to the type of lashing chosen. The program that has been developed is aimed at transport companies, truck drivers, civil guards, policemen, inspectors… They can all benefit from its use. On the one hand, truck drivers or carriers may use it to ensure that the transported loads are properly secured in the vehicle, and on the other hand, inspectors or the police can use it to perform several necessary security controls and check or make sure if the load securing meets the UNE standards. Having already located the context of the project, the real motivation to perform this project is exposed in the following paragraphs. First it is important to fill in the existing gap that there is regarding security problems and the high number of accidents due to lashing errors. This gap affects the safety of not only people, but also of the transported loads, so that is why this reason is considered the most crucial one regarding the realization of this project. As mentioned throughout the project, nowadays there is no such program as the one that is being done, neither in Spain nor in most of the world, so with it, we are opening a full range of possible future improvements in the load transport system.
