El papel de las mujeres en el conflicto Kurdo dentro del actual contexto internacional de seguridad

Abstract

En el presente texto se estudia el papel de la mujer en la regiones kurdas de Irak, Irán, Turquía y Siria. Es una investigación exploratorio descriptiva mediante la combinación de entrevistas semi-estructuradas a investigadores y activistas de organizaciones pro-kurdas y la investigación documental. Se analiza la relación de la mujer con las estructuras patriarcales y su posición en las esferas pública y privadas en los países del Kurdistán desde la firma del Tratado de Sevrès en 1920 hasta la actualidad y el papel que han jugado en los eventos internacionales que han tenido lugar en la región, como el avance del Daesh o la proclamación de autonomía de la región Siria del Kurdistán.

The project evaluates the role of the women in the Kurdish regions of Iraq, Iran, Turkey and Syria. It is an exploratory descriptive research that combines semi-structured interviews to researchers and activists of pro-Kurdish organizations and documentary research. It analyses the relationship of women with patriarchal structures and their position in the public and private spheres in countries of Kurdistan, since the signing of the Treaty of Sevres in 1920, to the present, and the role played in international events in the region, such as the advance of Daesh or the declaration of independence of the Syrian region of Kurdistan.
