La innovación tecnológica y su influencia sobre el mercado laboral español

Abstract

El aumento en el desarrollo de la creación e innovación tecnológica es un hecho. Nos enfrentamos a una Tercera Revolución Industrial la cual se caracteriza por la implantación de las máquinas como motor de la sociedad y una transformación del funcionamiento del mercado, tanto a nivel de producción como de organización. Debemos por tanto hacernos la siguiente pregunta ¿Cómo va a afectar esta mutación a la sociedad y qué debemos hacer para adaptarnos?

Este cambio de sistema va a afectar a todos los ámbitos de la sociedad desde la medicina hasta la educación. Sin embargo, y pese a los evidentes beneficios que la innovación puede aportar al futuro de una sociedad, existe un particular interés, a la vez que preocupación acerca del futuro del empleo y cómo las nuevas tecnologías pueden sustituir a los trabajadores actuales, pudiendo llegar a generar problemas de diversas índoles (desempleo, dificultad para hacer frente a las pensiones).

El objetivo de este trabajo es ofrecer una visión sobre el futuro del mercado laboral español, el cual (al igual que el resto de mercados mundiales) va a estar condicionado en gran medida por los avances científicos y tecnológicos, así como analizar de qué manera se está de deberá afrontarse este nuevo sistema

The growth in the development of technological innovation and creation is a fact. We are facing a Third Industrial Revolution, which is characterised by the establishment of machines as the motor of society and the transformation of market functioning, both at a production and goods level, and at an organizational level. We must therefore ask ourselves the following question: How will this mutation affect society and how will we adapt to it?

This change in the system will affect all the different components of society from medicine to education. However, there is a special interest and preoccupation about the future of the labour market and how new technologies will be able to substitute actual workers, which can also generate a great variety of problems (unemployment, pensions).

The objective of this writing is to offer a point of view about the future of the Spanish labour market, which will be very affected by the new technologies, and the measures that will have to be taken to adapt to those changes.
