Abstract

A través del presente trabajo titulado ¿Afectará el Brexit a la gestión de patrimonio? Consecuencias económicas de la negociación se pretende hacer un análisis de cuáles serán las consecuencias del Brexit y cómo la decisión del pueblo británico de abandonar la Unión Europea afectará a las empresas dedicadas a la gestión de patrimonio. La evolución en los fondos de inversión tanto en España como en Reino Unido ayudará a comprender mejor las tendencias que se siguen los inversores en diferentes momentos de crisis y a qué clase de activos se apegan. En el trabajo se pretende abordar la evolución histórica de los fondos de inversión y comparar las tendencias de inversión entre los periodos previos y posteriores a la votación del Brexit.

Through this paper entitled Will Brexit affect the wealth management industry? Economic Consequences of the negotiation it is intended to make an analysis of what the consequences of Brexit will be and how the decision of the British people to leave the European Union will affect the companies committed to the asset and wealth management industry. The evolution of mutual funds in both Spain and the United Kingdom will help to better understand the trends that investors follow at different periods of crisis and to which asset class they are attracted.

The paper aims to address the historical evolution of mutual funds and compare investment trends between the periods before and after the Brexit decision.
