Relación terapéutica enfermera-paciente pediátrico oncológico: Proyecto educativo

Abstract

El proyecto educativo está basado en mejorar la relación terapéutica de la enfermera con el paciente pediátrico oncológico. Tras varios estudios se ha llegado a la conclusión de que es fundamental que una enfermera entable confianza y respeto con su paciente, esto le facilita la estancia hospitalaria al mismo, reduciendo su angustia y miedo cuando se encuentra ingresado. El objetivo es que después de haber realizado las sesiones educativas, la enfermera sea capaz de desarrollar estrategias para establecer un vínculo enfermera-paciente-familia, aumentando su capacidad para afrontar situaciones complicadas a la hora de comunicarse con el paciente y la familia. A través de ciertas actividades que se imparten la enfermera mejorará considerablemente dicha relación, siendo capaz de desarrollar habilidades frente a cualquier situación complicada en el ámbito del enfermo, así como con la familia.

This educational project is based in improving the therapeutic relationship of nurses with the pediatric oncology patient. After several studies the conclusion is that it is essential that nurses engage in trust and respect with the patient. This facilitates the hospital stay, reducing their anxiety and fear. The objective is that after completing the educational sessions, the nurse will be able to develop strategies for establishing a nurse-patient-family relationship, increasing their ability to deal with complicated situations at the time of communicating with the patient and family. Through certain activities taught, the nurse greatly improves the relationship, being able to develop skills facing any complicated situation in the area of the patient and the family.
