La captación yihadista a mujeres de Occidente

Abstract

Los últimos ataques terroristas de carácter yihadista llevados a cabo por el grupo terrorista Estado Islámico en Europa y Estados Unidos demuestran que nos encontramos ante una amenaza única que no ha hecho más que comenzar. En esta situación, cabe dirigir la atención al elevado número de occidentales que han decidido abandonar la seguridad y estabilidad de sus hogares para viajar a zonas de conflicto y luchar del lado de la yihad. Por ello, resulta de gran relevancia abordar el problema de la captación yihadista en Occidente, más concretamente de la captación yihadista de mujeres de Occidente. Este trabajo analizará, a partir de una serie de variables, distintas cuestiones sobre el perfil de las mujeres occidentales que deciden enrolarse en esta lucha.

The last jihadist terrorist attacks carried out by the terrorist group Islamic State in Europe and the United Sates show that we are facing a unique threat that has only just begun. In this context, it is important to give the proper attention to the elevated number of Western people that have decided to abandon the safety and stability of their homes in order to travel to conflict zones and fight on the side of the jihad. Because of this, there is a need to address the problem of the jihadi recruitment of Western women. This thesis will analyse, from various variables, different issues about the profile of Western women that decide to participate in this fight.
