“Inmovilización en pacientes politraumatizados”. Proyecto educativo para el voluntariado de Protección Civil

Abstract

La inmovilización de cualquier parte del cuerpo en los pacientes politraumatizados es vital para evitar futuras lesiones y para estabilizar al paciente que ha sufrido el accidente. Este trabajo va a abordar el tema de inmovilización en pacientes politraumatizados, abarcando todas las posibles situaciones en las que pueden encontrarse pacientes de este tipo. El objetivo es otorgar una formación en la materia específica de inmovilización de cualquier parte del cuerpo del paciente. Se hará mediante un proyecto educativo dirigido al personal voluntario del cuerpo de Protección Civil, por su no necesidad de disponer de una formación sanitaria previa para entrar en el cuerpo de voluntarios. Se pretende con este proyecto educativo que en situaciones en las que es necesario proporcionar al paciente de una inmovilización en cualquier parte de su cuerpo, el personal voluntario de Protección Civil pueda dársela con la mayor seguridad posible

The immobilization of any part of the human body in politrauma patients is vital to prevent future injuries and it is use to stabilize the patient. This educational project attend the topic immobilization in politrauma patients, encompass all the situations with this specific type of patients. The objective of this educational project is grant a training in this specific matter to know how immobilize any part of the patient body. This educational project it is aimed to the volunteers of the Protección Civil body, by is not required to have a previous formation in health matters to enter in the volunteers’ body. The intention with this educational project is to provide the patient a correct immobilization in any situation that he can need, do this correctly and train the volunteers of Protección Civil properly.
