Necesidades y demandas del paciente paliativo

Abstract

Introducción: Al hablar de cuidados paliativos se debe incluir al paciente paliativo, sus familiares y quien realiza sus cuidados, enfermería .El paciente paliativo desarrolla una serie de necesidades físicas, psicosociales y espirituales que enfermería intenta cubrir, pretendiendo proporcionar bienestar en los últimos días de vida. Objetivo: Identificar las necesidades y demandas de atención paliativa en pacientes con enfermedad terminal. Metodología: Se llevará a cabo una revisión sistemática consultando las bases de datos EBSCO, Dialnet, PubMed, Cuiden, Medline y CINAHL. Implicaciones para la Enfermería: En esta revisión bibliográfica pretendo hacer una guía que incluya las necesidades físicas, psicosociales y espirituales que tiene el paciente paliativo, las necesidades y problemas de los familiares y la asistencia humana y técnica que realizan, los profesionales sanitarios que más tiempo permanece junto con el paciente; los enfermeros. Busco crear un manual destinado a enfermería, en la asistencia del paciente paliativo en todas sus esferas, para aportar así todos los cuidados que debe realizar con este tipo de pacientes y sus familiares, en el proceso de la muerte.

Introduction: When we talk about palliative cares, we must include palliative patients, their families and of course the people who cares about them, nursing. The palliative patient develops phisical, psycosocial and spiritual needs that nursing attempts to cover, pretending provide them wellness in the last days of their life. Objective: Identify the needs and demands of palliative care in patients with terminal illness. Methodology: It will be carried out a literature review consulting the databases EBSCO, Dialnet, PubMed, Cuiden, Medline y CINAHL. Implications for nursing: In this literature review I intend to make a guide which includes physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs that palliative patient needs and additionally family problems, human and technical assistance that health professionals make, who remain with the patient most time, I mean nurses. I search to create a manual for nursing in the assistance of the palliative patient in all fields, to provide them all the care that should be done with this kind of patients and their families in the process of death.
