How Industry 4.0 can change the car manufacturing industry.

Abstract

En este estudio, se analizarán los posibles avances tecnológicos y las técnicas que se pueden utilizar en la industria. Luego, se estudiará el potencial de la industria para incluir estos avances tecnológicos, seguido de un análisis de la utilidad de cada avance tecnológico 4.0 para la industria. Este análisis se realizará utilizando un enfoque teórico y simulación por computadora para extraer resultados relevantes.

Por último, se analizarán las áreas específicas de mejora en los procesos de los fabricantes de automóviles para encontrar espacio para la implementación 4.0. Con el fin de proporcionar una idea de cómo estos resultados serán en la vida real, se simularán dos modelos diferentes utilizando el software de análisis de procesos antes mencionado, antes y después de la transformación.

Los resultados se recogerán y analizarán en su contexto apropiado para extraer conclusiones relevantes para esta industria. En una etapa conclusiva final, este documento dará una visión general de los posibles beneficios futuros del estudio para esta y otras industrias.

In this study, the possible technological advances and techniques that can be used in the industry will be scrutinized. Then, the potential of the industry to include these technological advances will be studied, followed by an analysis of the utility of each 4.0 technological advance for the industry. This analysis will be done using both a theoretical approach and computer simulation te extract relevant results.

Lastly, the specific areas of improvement in auto makers’ processes will be scrutinized to find room for 4.0 implementation. In order to provide some insight of just how these results will be in real life, two different models will be simulated using the aforementioned process analysis software, before and after the transformation.

The results will be gathered and analyzed in their appropriate context to extract relevant conclusions for this industry. In a final conclusive stage, this paper will overview the possible future benefits of the study for this and other industries.
