Economía circular : posibilidades de desarrollo en la Unión Europea y en España

Abstract

La concienciación, cerrar los ciclos para evitar los residuos. Este trabajo profundiza en la definición del concepto a través de la revisión de la literatura ecologista y analiza las medidas tomadas en relación con el tema en Europa, tanto a nivel comunitario como en las políticas nacionales de los miembros. Entre ellos, se analiza con especial detenimiento la posición de España.

The traditional production system uses natural raw materials to transform and finally discard. Given the needs of the growing population and the depletion of resources, a sustainable alternative becomes necessary. The circular economy model is one of the solutions that has had the most impact in recent years. This system proposes making intelligent use of raw materials and, through design and awareness, closing loops to avoid waste. This work deepens in the definition of the concept through the review of environmental literature and analyzes the European measures taken in relation to the issue, both at the European Union level and in the national policies of the members. Among them, the position of Spain is analyzed with special care.
