Análisis del conflicto palestino-israelí desde la perspectiva de la microhistoria de Amos Oz en su libro Las Voces de Israel

Abstract

Asumiendo la complejidad del conflicto entre Palestina e Israel, el siguiente trabajo se centra en comparar la postura y aspiraciones del momento de los judíos, palestinos y cristianos de los años 80, con las elecciones de dicha década y ver si los resultados electorales encajan con los deseos de la población. Para analizar las diferentes posiciones de los judíos, palestinos y cristianos, utilizaré la metodología de la microhistoria. Este método intenta extraer a través de un análisis a sujetos particulares, conclusiones globales de situaciones más genéricas. Para ello analizaré el libro de Amos Oz, Las Voces de Israel, uno de los periodistas de referencia de la izquierda intelectual israelí, donde les da voz a través de su ensayo y nos permite entender un poco mejor la evolución de los asentamientos judíos en Jerusalén y en general dentro de la antigua Palestina (entendida como la que existía durante la colonización inglesa). Gracias a la comparación entre la población y el gobierno de la época, vemos como tanto los judíos como los palestinos en su mayoría, cansados del derramamiento de sangre, aspiran a conseguir un gobierno que les asegure un futuro de paz y acuerdo conjunto entre ambos pueblos.

Assuming the complexity of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, the following work focuses on comparing the position and aspirations of the Jews, Palestinians and Christians of the 1980s with the elections of the 1980s and whether the election results fit the wishes of the population. To analyse the different positions of Jews, Palestinians and Christians, I will use the methodology of micro-history. This method tries to extract, through an analysis of particular subjects, global conclusions from more generic situations. To this end, I will analyse the book by Amos Oz, Las Voces de Israel, one of the leading journalists of the Israeli intellectual left, where he gives them a voice through his essay and allows us to understand a little better the evolution of the Jewish settlements in Jerusalem and in general within ancient Palestine (understood as the one that existed during the English colonisation). Thanks to the comparison between the population and the government of the time, we see how both Jews and the majority of Palestinians, tired of bloodshed, aspire to a government that will ensure a future of peace and joint agreement between the two peoples.
