“Un Nuevo Mundo desde la apertura al otro”

Abstract

La globalización es un proceso en el cual estamos inmersos, que supone poner en contacto personas, capitales, conocimiento y tecnología, facilitando las relaciones con todos los países del globo, sus sociedades y las instituciones mundiales. El descubrimiento de América es considerado la primera globalización al dar a conocer todo el orbe y sobre todo, dos territorios completamente diferentes: Europa y América. Los primeros españoles que llegaron y las instituciones llevadas fueron muy polémicas por los abusos y los tratos inferidos a los indios, cuestionándose su validez como la licitud de la conquista. La revisión de la ética en el dominio español de las Américas y por ende, a esta globalización, es un proceso único en la historia. Este trabajo busca comparar ambas globalizaciones a través la revisión ética hecha por los pensadores españoles, observando si se ha cuestionado la ética de la actual globalización, así como la necesidad de hacerlo.

Globalisation is a daily process that put in touch many elements such as person, knowledge, capitals and technology which it helps with the relationships between all the countries, their societies and worldwide institutions. The America’s Discovery is considered the first globalisation because this event helped to know all the continents and territories of the world and also, two different zones: Europe and America. The arrival of the first Spaniards to America and their institutions were a polemic situation due to the abuses suffered by the natives. This problem generated the doubt about the legality of the institutions and the conquest. The Spanish ethical revision of the American conquest is a unique process in the History. The commitment of this study is the comparation between each globalization using the ethical revision made by Spanish thinkers, analysing the actual globalization in terms of ethics and also, if this attitude is necessary.
