Plan estratégico de crecimiento de la Fundación Soñar despierto

Abstract

Hoy en día hay en España 47.493 menores atendidos 17.527 de los cuales se encuentran en centros de acogida repartidos en 1.131 residencias por todas las Comunidades Autónomas. Los centros residenciales del Estado se encargan de cubrir las necesidades básicas de estos niños, sin embargo ante la carencia de atención a sus necesidades afectivas surgen iniciativas como la Fundación Soñar Despierto. Este trabajo analiza la situación vigente de estos menores, así como la labor realizada por la Fundación y la explicación de los distintos proyectos que llevan a cabo. El objetivo es elaborar un plan estratégico de crecimiento para incrementar el número de menores que se benefician de sus programas y poder “mejorar la sociedad de mañana apoyando a los niños y jóvenes de hoy”.

Currently, there are 47,493 children attended in Spain, 17,527 of which are in minors reception centers distributed in 1,131 residences throughout the Autonomous Communities. The residential centers of the State are responsible for covering the basic needs of these children; however, due to the lack of attention to their emotional needs, initiatives such as the Fundación Soñar Despierto arise. This paper analyzes the current situation of these children, as well as the work accomplished by the Foundation and the explanation of the different projects they carry out. The goal is to develop a strategic growth plan to increase the number of children who benefit from their programs and to "improve tomorrow's society by supporting children and young people today."
