Refugiados en Europa, situación e integración en el Reino Unido

Abstract

El ámbito territorial en el que se centra el estudio es Europa en características más generales y más específicamente en el Reino Unido. A lo largo de este estudio, se expone la situación de los refugiados en Europa, se recopilan las razones por las que huyen de sus países, las vías de entrada a Europa, los requisitos exigidos por ley para alcanzar el estatus de refugiado en Europa y específicamente en el Reino Unido hasta cómo es su vida e integración en este país. El objetivo de esta investigación es contribuir a la comprensión de lo que significa ser un refugiado en el siglo XXI, conocer un poco más sobre la crisis migratoria que se produce hoy en Europa y, sobre todo, saber si existe una integración real, específicamente en el Reino Unido, donde he centrado específicamente mi trabajo. En cuanto a la estructura del trabajo, incluye una primera parte en la que se recogen algunas aclaraciones conceptuales, legislación sobre los refugiados en Europa e Inglaterra y estadísticas; y una segunda en la que, además de la bibliografía, los testimonios y discursos de los sujetos entrevistados se reflejan en su experiencia como refugiados desde el momento en que abandonan sus países de origen y su vida e integración en el Reino Unido. Además, el punto de vista también se toma de la experiencia profesional de dos profesionales que trabajan con refugiados en Londres.

The territorial scope in which the study is focused in is Europe in more general features and more specifically in the United Kingdom Throughout this study, the situation of the refugees in Europe is exposed, they are collected from the reasons for fleeing their countries, the entry ways to Europe, the requirements required by law to achieve refugee status in Europe and specifically in the United Kingdom up to how is their life and integration in this country. The purpose of this research is to contribute to the understanding of what it means to be a refugee in the 21st century, to know a little more about the migratory crisis that occurs today in Europe and, above all, to know if there is a real integration, specifically in the United Kingdom, where I have specifically focused my work. Regarding the structure of the work, it includes, a first part in which some conceptual clarifications are gathered, legislation around the refugees in Europe and England and statistics; and a second one in which, in addition to bibliography, the testimonies and speeches of the subjects interviewed are reflected in their experience as refugees from the moment they leave their countries of origin and their life and integration in the United Kingdom. In addition, the point of view is also taken from the professional experience of two professionals who work with refugees in London.
