Reestructuración del sector bancario español : situación actual y perspectivas

Abstract

La finalidad de este trabajo es, en primer lugar, realizar un estudio en profundidad del proceso de reestructuración del sector financiero español para, posteriormente, valorar la eficacia y conveniencia de las diversas medidas tomadas recientemente para superar la crisis financiera a nivel nacional e internacional. Desde regulación del sistema bancario hasta normativa de capital o política monetaria. La novedad de este trabajo radica en la elaboración de un estudio de las medidas que se están aprobando en la actualidad para fortalecer y mejorar la estabilidad española y europea tras la crisis financiera.

The purpose of this paper is, firstly, to develop a deep analysis of the restructuring process of the Spanish financial sector, in order to evaluate the effectiveness and convenience of the different measures recently adopted in order to overcome the financial crisis, both from a national and international perspective. The range of actions under analysis varies from regulation of the banking system, to capital requirements and monetary policy. The innovative approach of this paper resides in its evaluation of the different decisions that are being adopted in order to strengthen and enhance the stability of the financial sector both in Spain and the rest of European countries.
