Procedimiento normalizado de trabajo para la detección de las variables influyentes en el estrés en las pacientes oncológicas con cáncer de mama sometidas a mastectomía

Abstract

El cáncer de mama es el segundo cáncer con mayor incidencia en el mundo, siendo el más frecuente entre las mujeres. Los tratamientos principales para esta dolencia son la quimioterapia, radioterapia, hormonoterapia y la cirugía. Esta última, con sus diferentes tipos, provoca un alto nivel de ansiedad entre las pacientes, por lo que con el presente estudio se pretende identificar las distintas variables que influyen en el estrés en relación con el tipo de intervención quirúrgica que se realiza. Para ello, se tomarán a 30 pacientes que ingresen en el Hospital Universitario Ramón y Caja! para ser tratadas mediante la mastectomía. Para la recogida de datos se dispondrá de un documento que contendrá la escala de Hamilton, que se cumplimentará antes y después del procedimiento quirúrgico. Posteriormente, los datos pasarán a ser codificados y analizados mediante el programa IBM-SPSS v.22,llevando a cabo un análisis estadístico descriptivo y correlacional para las diferentes variables.

Breast cancer is the second cancer with the highest incidence of the world, being the most common among women. The main treatments for this condition are chemotherapy, radiation therapy, hormone therapy and surgery. This last one, with its different types, causes a high level of anxiety among patients. For this reason this study intends to identify the different variables that affect stress regarding the type of the surgical intervention to be performed. Thus,30 patients to be treated by mastectomy will be considered when entering the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital. For data colection, there will be a document containing the Hamilton Scale available, which has to be completed before and after the surgical procedure. Subsequently, the data will be coded and analysed using the IBM-SPSS v.22 program, performing a descriptive and correlational statistical analysis for the different variables.
