Proyecto Educativo: Prevención de las Úlceras por Presión

Abstract

Actualmente las úlceras por presión (UPP) representan un problema sanitario, por lo que se decide desarrollar este proyecto para educar a los profesionales de enfermería en la necesidad de disminuir la aparición de este tipo de heridas cutáneas, que en su gran mayoría son evitables, desde el punto de vista de la prevención. Por lo que el objetivo principal que se quiere conseguir con la realización de este proyecto es la adquisición de conocimientos necesarios por parte de las enfermeras de atención primaria para abordar las UPP desde su inicio y evitar su aparición. La metodología de este proyecto es de carácter educativo y está dirigido a la población de enfermeras de tres centros de salud de la zona Este de Madrid. Las sesiones educativas se llevarán a cabo en los propios centros de salud, y la captación se realizará mediante sesiones informativas con los supervisores de enfermería de cada centro. El desarrollo de este proyecto ayudará a aumentar el conocimiento preventivo de las UPP por parte de las enfermeras de atención primaria, y de esta manera promover la educación para la salud, mejorando la calidad asistencial.

Currently the press ulcers represent one health problem, for this reason was decided to develop this project, to educate nursing professionals on the need to decrease the appearance of this kind of skin wounds, that in their great majority are avoidable, in the point of view of prevention. So, the main objective to get with the realization of this Project is, knowledges acquisition required by the nurses in the primary care, to approach the UPP from the beginning and avoid it appearance. The methodology of this Project it is from educational nature and it is focused in the nursing population of three health centers in the Eastern part of Madrid. The educational sessions will be carried out in the health centers themselves, and the recruitment will be done through informative sessions with the nursing supervisors of each center. The development of this project will help the increasement of knowledges necessary to prevent the UPP on the part of the nurses in the primary care, and by this way promote the health education with quality.
