Ansiedad y formación ante el afrontamiento de la muerte de un paciente pediátrico oncológico

Abstract

La muerte es una etapa que indica el final de la vida de una persona, no es fácil afrontar la muerte y procesar un duelo que no sea patológico, por ellos es importante explorar los recursos para su abordaje. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal, evaluar el nivel de ansiedad producido en el personal de enfermería con respecto a la muerte del paciente pediátrico oncológico, así como medir la formación que ha recibido el profesional con respecto a las estrategias a utilizar ante estas situaciones. El manejo de la ansiedad y la formación de enfermería ante el fallecimiento o el acompañamiento en fase terminal del paciente oncológico pediátrico, es fundamental para el abordaje del paciente así como el de los familiares.

The death a is period that indicates the end of a persons life, it is not easy to confront the death and process a non pathological mourning, due to this, it is importan!to explore the resources to deal with it. The main objetive of this investigation is to evaluate the anxiety level of the nurse staff, resulting from the death of the oncological pediatric patient, as well as measuring the knowledge that the nurse staff has recieved related to the strategies the may use to handle this situations. The anxiety management and the nurse training at the passing or the treatment in the terminal phase of the oncological pediatric patient, is fundamental for the patient and also his/her relatives approach
