Implicaciones de la automatización en el transporte : un análisis multidisciplinar

Abstract

El hecho de que el comercio, pilar básico de nuestra economía, pueda desarrollarse de manera nacional e internacional se debe principalmente al transporte. Por ello, es importante conocer el gran cambio que va a sufrir el sector de la automoción pues este tendrá incidencias directas en prácticamente todas las ramas existentes de nuestra sociedad, incluido el comercio. Sí preguntáramos a alguien hace 10 años sí se imaginaba viviendo como actualmente lo hacemos y que la tecnología iba a ser capaz de cambiar nuestra forma de vida como lo ha hecho, obtendríamos una respuesta negativa. El tema que se ha elegido es otro de los grandes ejemplos que nos dejan ver que la tecnología es prácticamente capaz de cambiarlo todo, algo realmente positivo, pues nos obliga a estar alerta constantemente frente a los posibles cambios, desafiándonos para ver sí somos capaces de adaptarnos a nuevas formas de vivir, trabajar y movernos. El tema de los coches autónomos no deja de ser tema de actualidad y es por eso que se plantea la pregunta de sí realmente habrá un día en el que moverse sin conductor va a ser percibido como algo normal y cotidiano pues hace 10 años tampoco se imaginaba nadie que sería normal llevar un aparato en nuestros bolsillos que fuera capaz de hacer tantas cosas, y actualmente lo llevamos siendo lo raro el no llevarlo y no al revés. El hecho de que probablemente en quince años aproximadamente, se implante esta nueva forma de conducción nos lleva a preguntarnos como serán las consecuencias prácticas, qué ramas quedarán afectadas directamente y sí la solución que se plantea a estos problemas prácticos podría ser la misma para otras formas de transporte como puede ser el transporte público, transporte aéreo o marítimo.

Therefore, it is important to know the great change that the automotive sector is going to suffer, since it will have a direct impact on practically all the existing branches of our society, including trade. If we were to ask someone 10 years ago if they imagined living as we do today and that technology was going to be able to change our way of life as it has, we would get a negative answer. The theme that has been chosen is another of the great examples that let us see that technology is practically capable of changing everything, something really positive, because it forces us to be constantly alert to possible changes, challenging us to see if we are able to adapt to new ways of living, working and moving. The issue of autonomous cars is still a current topic and that's why the question arises whether there really will be a day when moving without a driver will be perceived as normal and everyday because 10 years ago no one imagined that it would be normal to carry a device in our pockets that was capable of doing so many things, and now we have been the strange thing not to carry and not vice versa. The fact that probably in fifteen years or so, this new form of driving will be implemented leads us to ask ourselves what the practical consequences will be, which branches will be directly affected and whether the solution to these practical problems could be the same for other forms of transport such as public transport, air or sea transport.
