Aplicación de blockchain en la gestión automatizada de reclamaciones en el sector aéreo: el caso de T-Claim-Pascual Pujol, Gonzalo

Abstract

En la actualidad, encontramos tecnologías de carácter disruptivo que ofrecen la posibilidad de crear, innovar y transformar ideas de negocio, no solo rentables en lo económico, sino también en lo social. La globalización permite a estas ideas de negocio convertirse en una realidad, no solo en mercados locales sino en el ámbito internacional. Gracias a este contexto en el que vivimos, surge T-Claim. T-Claim es una startup de carácter tecnológico creada por dos alumnos de la Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) con la ayuda de un mentor. Este desarrollo se lleva a cabo a través del programa “Comillas Emprende” dentro de la competición patrocinada por everis. Esta idea de negocio surge de una mala experiencia sufrida por los dos creadores a la hora de llevar a cabo una reclamación por retraso de vuelo. Es por ello que se ven motivados a estudiar el problema y sus consecuencias, el mercado de las aerolíneas y la oportunidad de negocio que hay en la gestión automatizada de reclamaciones a aerolíneas por cancelaciones y retrasos de vuelos. Una vez entendida la oportunidad de negocio, se desarrolla un business plan basado en el uso de la tecnología blockchain, la cual a través de su aplicación smartcontracts, la seguridad que presenta y la posibilidad de la creación de criptomonedas, dotará a la idea de negocio de viabilidad. De esta manera se consigue que T-Claim se convierta en un diseño de servicio, capaz de satisfacer las necesidades de sus clientes, las aerolíneas, y de mejorar el servicio que proveen estas a sus usuarios

Nowadays, we find disruptive technologies that offer the possibility of creating, innovating, and transforming business ideas, not only profitable economically, but also socially. Globalization allows these business ideas to become a reality, not only in local markets but in the international arena. Thanks to this context in which we live, T-Claim arises. T-Claim is a technology startup, created by two students from the Comillas Pontifical University (ICADE) with the help of a mentor. This development is carried out through the "Comillas Emprende" program, within the competition sponsored by Everis. This business idea arises from a bad experience suffered by the two founders, when filing a flight delay claim. For this reason, they are motivated to study the problem and its consequences, the airline market and the business opportunity in the claim automated management to airlines for flight cancellations and delays. Once the business opportunity is understood, a business plan is developed based on the use of blockchain technology, which through its smartcontracts application, the security it presents and the possibility of creating cryptocurrencies, will endow the business idea of viability. In this way, T-Claim is converted into a service design, which is capable of satisfying the needs of its customers, the airlines, and improving the service they provide to their users.
