Abstract

El terrorismo islámico o yihadista que por desgracia conocemos hoy en día ha evolucionado y no es el mismo que el de principios de siglo XXI. La evolución de este terrorismo se ha relacionado con muchas variables, pero fundamentalmente ha venido de la mano del desarrollo de la tecnología. En este trabajo se realiza un análisis comparativo que pretende identificar qué dinámicas del terrorismo a lo largo del tiempo han sido las más afectadas por la irrupción del desarrollo de la tecnología. La nueva tecnología ha cambiado la manera en la que los terroristas radicalizan nuevos individuos, favoreciendo el uso de internet y redes sociales, y ha rejuvenecido y ampliado las maneras que tenía el terrorismo de financiar y de llevar a cabo atentados. El conocimiento de cómo estas dinámicas han evolucionado hasta el presente se considera fundamental, ya que nos permitirán prevenir futuros actos terroristas derivados de futuros hitos tecnológicos que se aproximan.

The Islamic or Jihadist terorrism that we unfortunately know today differs from the one we knew in the beggining of this century. The evolution of this kind of terrorism has been related with many variables, but the main reason of this evolution has been the development of technology. In this project a comparative analysis is carried out aiming to identify which terrorism dynamics have evolved more through the time due to the development of technology. New technology findings have changed the way terrorists radicalize new subjetcts, stimulating the use of internet and social networks, and it has widen and tarted up the way terrorists used to finance and comitt attacks. The knowledge of how these dynamics have changed until now is essential, since it will allow us to prevent future terrorist attacks due to future technology findings that are approaching.
