La inclusión, la mejor respuesta a la discapacidad

Abstract

La discapacidad enseña que existen diferentes maneras de ser y de pensar el mundo, la diferencia es lo que de manera automática e inconsciente lleva al rechazo. Puesto que la discapacidad impone a la filosofía replantearse lo que es un hombre y pone al hombre cara a sus miedos y angustias, ese trabajo consistirá en exponer las diferentes visiones filosóficas a lo largo de la historia hasta ahora, contemplando con suma atención el modelo social. Veremos en qué medida los valores vinculados por el modelo social son esenciales al desarrollo de una sociedad igualitaria que se quiere inclusiva. De esa forma, se expondrán y analizarán las distintas configuraciones jurídicas y normativas a escala nacional e internacional enfrentando ese ideal normativo a la realidad de la discapacidad a través de estudios sociológicos. Finalmente, se abordará la educación inclusiva que consiste en el aprendizaje y el desarrollo de las facultades intelectuales, morales y físicas de todos los alumnos independientemente de sus diferencias. Fiel al modelo social la educación inclusiva es el reto educativo del siglo XXI, veremos ejemplos actuales de su aplicación. Nos cuestionaremos a lo largo de ese trabajo acerca de la efectividad del modelo social y de las normas que lo sustentan confrontándolo a la realidad que muestran las cifras. La educación inclusiva también será objeto de reflexión puesto que evolucionamos en una sociedad pensada por y para las personas sin discapacidades.

: Disability teaches that there are different ways of being and thinking about the world, the difference is what automatically and unconsciously leads to rejection. Since disability imposes on philosophy a rethinking of what a man is and puts a face to his fears and anxieties, this work will consist in exposing the different philosophical visions throughout history until then, carefully considering the social model. We will see to what extent the values linked to the social model are essential to the development of an egalitarian society that wants to be inclusive. In this way, the different legal and normative configurations at national and international levels will be presented and analyzed, confronting this normative ideal with the reality of disability through sociological studies. Finally, it will address inclusive education which consists IN learning and developing the intellectual, moral and physical faculties of all students regardless of their differences. Faithful to the social model, inclusive education is the educational challenge of the 21st century. Throughout this work we will question the effectiveness of the social model and the norms that support it by confronting the reality that the figures depict. Inclusive education will also be the subject of reflection as we evolve in a society designed by and for people without disabilities .
