Abstract

El concepto de “embarazo arcoíris” es un concepto que se está dando a conocer en estas últimas décadas. Está muy relacionado con el concepto de duelo y muerte perinatal, situaciones que muchas veces se infravaloran y que provocan, al igual que el resto de los duelos, una gran vivencia emocional y supone un estrés en el adulto. Muchas de las parejas que han sufrido la pérdida de un bebé, han decidido comenzar una nueva etapa, tras haber trabajado su proceso de duelo y han pensado en emprenderse en el camino de un nuevo embarazo. Es de donde nace, por tanto, el concepto de “Embarazo Arcoíris” Es importante que estas parejas se sientan acompañadas y asesoradas en todo momento, recibiendo la información y los cuidados necesarios por parte del personal sanitario, para que el nuevo embarazo y el nacimiento del nuevo bebé se desarrolle con normalidad. Por estos motivos se realizará un proyecto educativo. Para estas parejas que esperan un nuevo bebé, tras haber experimentado un duelo.
