Análisis de la valoración del dolor por parte del personal de enfermería en pacientes pediátricos oncológicos

Abstract

En este estudio se intenta determinar si se realiza una correcta valoración del dolor por parte del personal de enfermería en las unidades de oncología del Hospital Infantil Universitario Niño Jesús. Metodología: Para responder a esta cuestión, se desarrolla un estudio observacional descriptivo de carácter transversal en el hospital previamente mencionado. La población diana son los enfermeros y enfermeras de oncología pediátrica, siendo la muestra los pertenecientes al hospital donde se realiza el estudio .Se estudiarán las variables tanto sociodemográficas propias de cada sujeto como las variables relacionadas directamente con el estudio, para así poder establecer mediante estadística descriptiva e inferencial (utilizando los test estadísticos chi cuadrado y Tstudent) el análisis completo de cómo se produce la valoración del dolor por parte de los enfermeros en pacientes pediátricos.

In this research the goal is to determine if a correct pain valoration is done by the nursing staff in the oncology unit of the “Hospital Infantil Universitario Niño Jesús”. Methodology: To solve this issue it has been developed an observational and descriptive study with a transversal character in the hospital previously mentioned. The population of this study is the nursing staff of the pediatric oncology unit, and the sample are the ones who belong to the hospital where the study is being carried, studying the individual sociodemographic variables as well as the variables directly related to the study. To establish in this way through descriptive and inferential statistics (with chi-square and Tstudent) the complete analysis of how the pain valoration is done by the nursing staff in pediatric patients.
