Abstract

La obra "Irán por Dentro. La otra historia" ofrece una visión actualizada de las relaciones entre Irán y Occidente desde los albores de la civilización desde una perspectiva global, a través de diez grandes áreas de conocimiento, la historia de Irán, las religiones de Irán desde el periodo avéstica al chiísmo en sus diversas manifestaciones, el sufismo y su interacción con otras formas de misticismo, el Islam en Irán y sus particularidades, el derecho y la jurisprudencia desde el periodo sumerio hasta la Revolución Islámica, la lengua y literatura persa, manifestaciones artísticas (arquitectura, miniatura, caligrafía, cine, teatro), la sociedad y el rol de la mujer en los distintos periodos históricos, finalizando con un análisis sobre la dimensión política y las teorías de la soberanía. Se complementa la obra con numerosos apéndices relativos a terminología especializada y un repertorio biográfico de personalidades.

The book Inside "Iran from within. Another story" offers an updated vision of the relations between Iran and the West from the dawn of civilization from a global perspective, through ten major areas of knowledge, the history of Iran, the religions of Iran from the Avestan period to the Shiism in its various manifestations, Sufism and its interaction with other forms of mysticism, Islam in Iran and its particularities, law and jurisprudence from the Sumerian period to the Islamic Revolution, the Persian language and literature, artistic manifestations (architecture, miniature, calligraphy, cinema, theater), society and the role of women in different historical periods, ending with an analysis of the political dimension and theories of sovereignty.
