Proyecto educativo para la prevención de infecciones y la minimización del miedo al personal sanitario, dirigida a niños escolarizados de segundo ciclo de educación infantil

Abstract

Casi la totalidad de los niños de tres años se encuentran escolarizados en centros educativos, estudios previos demuestran que la escolarización y las infecciones están relacionadas en estas edades. Por otro lado los niños también suelen tener miedo al ambiente y personal sanitario. Por estos motivos se considera importante la necesidad de educación para la salud en centros educativos. Además de la importancia que tiene el profesorado de tratar temas sanitarios de forma transversal en las asignaturas que competen al curso. El proyecto educativo va dirigido a los niños de segundo ciclo de infantil del Colegio Madre de Dios, mediante tres actividades en las cuales se tratará: ¿Qué son las infecciones?, los síntomas y como perder el miedo al ambiente sanitario. El juego será la manera de aportar conocimientos. Al finalizar las actividades se evaluaran en conjunto con el profesorado y un observador si se han cumplido los objetivos.

Almost every three year old children is enrolled in school, previous studies show that education and infections are related at these ages. On the other hand, kids are usually afraid of the medical environment and the medical staff. Because of that it is considered important a health education in these educative centers. Moreover the importance the faculty has in dealing with medical issues in a transversal way in those signatures among the school year. This project will be orientated to the second year of kindergarten at school Madre de Dios through three different activities in which the main goals will be: the infections, the symptoms and how to lose the fear to the medical environment. The game will be the way to transmit the knowledge. At the end it will be evaluated among with the faculty if the goals have been accomplished.
