Enfermería rural en la Cordillera Andina de Arequipa, Perú

Abstract

Perú es un país rico en recursos de todo tipo, sin embargo gran parte de su población vive bajo el umbral de la pobreza, la mala distribución de los recursos, sus montañas escarpadas y la gran selva amazónica dificultan que la sanidad llegue a cualquier rincón del país. Este trabajo está centrado en hacer llegar la salud a la población rural del Perú, empezando desde lo más básico (prevención mediante la buena higiene y alimentación) y atendiendo otras enfermedades prevalentes en la zona Andina del departamento de Arequipa. El proyecto educativo se desarrollará en un pueblo llamado Cayarani perteneciente al municipio de Condesuyos (Arequipa) a 3.920 metros de altitud, con población en su gran mayoría Quechua-hablante. ¿Cómo está organizado el Sistema Nacional de Salud? ¿Qué sienten que necesitan? ¿Cómo cuidarles desde lo que ellos son? ¿Cómo prevenir enfermedades comunes? Son algunos puntos que se trataran en el siguiente trabajo.

Peru is a rich country with a lot of sources, however much of the population live below the poverty line, the resources are not well distributed, both Andean Highlands and the big Amazon make difficult the arrival of healing to any area of the country. This project is focus on bring the health to the rural communities in Peru, starting with the most basics to provide good health to the population (prevention disease through the good hygiene, education and nutrition), attends other common illness in the Andean area of Arequipa. The education project will be made in a village called Cayarani, belongs to the municipality of Condesuyos (Arequipa), which is situated 3.920 meters over the sea level and its population are Quechua-Speaking. ¿ How is the Health System organized? ¿How do they feel and what do they need? ¿How can we care them and their culture? ¿ How to prevent common disease? These questions are some of the points that are going to be exposed on the project.
