Cómo asumir la enfermedad de Alzheimer cuando la padece una persona allegada

Abstract

En este proyecto educativo se tratará de hacer un acercamiento a la carga que tiene el cuidador principal del enfermo de Alzheimer y las consecuencias de esta carga sobre la salud psíquico-física del mismo. Primero, y a modo resumen, se analizarán los aspectos principales de la enfermedad, explicando con ello algunas de las características principales de esta. Posteriormente se expondrá una reflexión fundamentada sobre la carga que sufre el cuidador principal y, junto a ello, las diferentes soluciones que pueden aplicar a las situaciones de estrés. Se crearán, por último, sesiones informativas para educar al cuidador principal en el arte de cuidar cuidando de sí mismo, aplicando conocimientos y realizando actividades con ellos.

In this educational project will try to make an approach to the load having the primary caregiver of the alzheimer's patients and the consequences of this burden on the caregiver. First, and summary way, the main aspects of the disease will be analyzed, thus explaining some of the main characteristics of this. Subsequently, a reflection based on the load experienced by the primary caregiver and, with it, the different solutions that can be applied to stressful situations will be discussed. Will be created, finally, information sessions to educate the primary caregiver in the art of caring and the care of himself, applying knowledge and doing activities with them.
