Ética e Inteligencia Artificial

Abstract

Los avances de la revolución 4.0 también han llegado al ámbito sanitario. Y los retos que plantean no son pocos. La utilización de maquinaria dotada de Inteligencia Artificial que aprende a velocidad de vértigo y analiza millones y millones de datos plantea conflictos que afectan a las actuales leyes y políticas y, sobre todo, a la concepción actual de la ética. A lo largo del presente trabajo de investigación se analizará la evolución y el efecto de la revolución 4.0 en el ámbito de la medicina, para así identificar los conflictos éticos que han venido y seguirán acarreando si no se impide que la maquinaria traspase límites infranqueables. Se estudiarán casos reales y se apoyará el trabajo en dos entrevistas realizadas a dos personalidades relevantes que nos permitirán identificar varios retos y algunas soluciones para afrontar la complejidad ética que supone el avance de la Inteligencia Artificial en el ámbito de la medicina.

Advances of the Fourth Industrial Revolution have also reached the health field. And challenges that they entail are not few. The use of machinery equipped with Artificial Intelligence, which learns at lightning speed and analyses millions and millions of data, arises conflicts related to current laws and policies and, especially, with the current conception of ethics. This paper will analyze the evolution and the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, particularly in the medical field, in order to identify ethical conflicts that are happening and that will keep happening if we don’t control the negligent use of machinery. This paper will also study real cases and two interviews realized to interesting figures that will help us to identify several challenges and some solutions to face the ethical complexity that advances of Artificial Intelligence in the medical field arise
