Relación y Violencia entre hermanos

Abstract

La violencia entre hermanos es un problema de alta prevalencia, por ello, se hace necesario dar a conocer esta realidad para así poder prevenir y tratarlo. El propósito del presente trabajo es analizar los posibles factores de riesgo, de protección, las consecuencias y la intervención terapéutica. Algunos estudios identifican 4 tipos de violencia entre hermanos. La violencia entre hermanos afecta negativamente a la salud mental y a las relaciones durante toda la vida. Existen factores de riesgo y de protección individuales y sistémicos que inciden en la aparición y se deben estudiar de manera interactiva. Por último, en este trabajo se ha identificado que hay escasos tratamientos basados en la evidencia para abordar esta problemática y se necesita un mayor estudio. Estos resultados pueden ayudar a concienciar a la sociedad y animar a implementar intervenciones desde edades más tempranas para reducir su prevalencia.

Sibling violence is a problem that is highly prevalent, thus, it is necessary to shed light on this reality, in order to prevent and treat it. The purpose of this systematic review is to analyze risk and protective factors, consequences and therapeutic intervention. Some studies have identified four types of sibling violence.
