SOCIOPOLITICAL MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN WESTERN LIBERAL DEMOCRACIES AND THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA

Abstract

Este TFG se centra en la interacción en términos ideológicos entre las Democracias Liberales Occidentales y la República Popular de China, investigando su relación en términos de entendimiento mutuo. En primer lugar, define a cada una de las partes a través de sus propias teorías. Luego, identifica que teorías son necesarias para crear un marco conceptual útil para analizar el entendimiento mutuo a nivel sociopolítico. En último lugar, esta investigación ofrece una perspectiva general sobre los elementos que unen y separan a ambas naciones estado a través de un proceso de desconstrucción político, social y cultura.

This thesis focuses on the ideological interaction between Western Liberal Democracies and the People’s Republic of China. It explores their relation in terms of mutual understanding. First, it defines each of the actors based on their own theories. Then, it identifies what theories are necessary in order to create a concept framework for sociopolitical mutual understanding. Finally, this research provides an overall perspective on the elements that unites and separates both nation-states trough a political, social and cultural deconstruction process.
