dc.description.abstract | This final degree work analyzes, firstly, the different factors that are included in the academic literature as determinants for the acceptance by the end user of the autonomous vehicle, developing a linear regression model, based mainly on this analysis of the literature, which is tested through data collection by the snowball model, and analyzed and studied using the R programming language. By means of this testing, which included 435 sample elements, it was possible to discover which of the variables included in the model were statistically significant, according to the sample used, after making the necessary adjustments to the model, based on the problems discovered both in the sample and in the model approach (heteroscedasticity and multicollinearity, due to the incorporation of interactions). Once the pertinent corrections have been made, it has been possible to determine the influence of these significant variables on the dependent variable: the level of acceptance of the autonomous vehicle, in addition to being able to verify which of the research hypotheses proposed have been fulfilled. The results indicate that the model created is, in general terms, statistically significant, based on the contrast F statistic. In addition, there is a high level of acceptance of the autonomous vehicle among the respondents, although only 6 variables were found to be statistically significant (out of the 17 proposed). | en-GB |
