Estudio de la Renta Básica: ¿Es viable una implantación práctica?

Abstract

¿Por qué el término Renta Básica ha ganado tanta popularidad en los últimos años? ¿Es realmente viable una implantación práctica en sociedades industriales como España sin tocar ningún servicio del Estado de Bienestar? ¿Vivimos en un contexto idílico para su implantación? Para responder a estas preguntas, primeramente, se realizará un análisis del concepto de Renta Básica Universal a la vez que se examinaran sus posibles ventajas y desventajas. Seguidamente, se procederá a realizar un estudio de los experimentos más notables de implantación de Renta Básica Universal en el continente europeo, americano, asiático y africano. Finalmente, habiendo realizado un análisis sobre las condiciones actuales de sostenibilidad y empleo, se planteará un escenario de implantación de esta medida en España lo que nos llevará a comprobar si, en la actualidad, es posible la implantación de una Renta Básica Universal

Why has the term Basin Income gained such popularity in recent years? Is an implementation in industrial companies, like Spain, viable without changing components of the welfare state? Do we live in an idyllic context for its implementation? To answer these questions, first, an analysis of the historical and current concept of Universal Basic Income will be carried out. Next, we will proceed to carry out a study of the most notable experiments that have been carried out in relation with the implementation of Basic Income throughout the world, making special emphasis in Alaska among others. Finally, having examined the current context in which we live, a scenario for the implementation of Basic Income in Spain will be proposed, which will lead us to ask whether, at present, it is possible to implement a Universal Basic Income.
