Conflicto israelí-palestino : política exterior de la Santa Sede y de la Liga Árabe

Abstract

El conflicto israelí-palestino ha articulado Oriente Medio durante el último siglo. El elevado número de actores y de variables hacen difícil la búsqueda de una solución que satisfaga las aspiraciones de todos. No obstante, el hallazgo de esta se hace realmente necesaria ante la reciente escalada de tensiones en un conflicto que parece no tener fin. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo dilucidar la política exterior de actores, que han tenido y tienen un papel activo en el conflicto, en eventos concretos que han configurado el conflicto y que dejan entrever qué solución es la correcta. Finalmente, cabe señalar que el conflicto solo se solucionará con una política exterior que tenga como fin una paz duradera y sostenible, para poder llegar a una solución que sea vista con buenos ojos por las tres religiones implicadas.

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has dominated the Middle East for the last century. The sheer number of actors and variables make it difficult to find a solution that satisfies everyone's aspirations. Nonetheless, finding a solution has become necessary in the face of the recent escalation of tensions in a conflict that seems to have no end in sight. This paper aims to elucidate the foreign policy of actors, who have played and continue to play an active role in the conflict, in concrete events that have shaped the conflict and that hint at the right solution. Finally, it should be pointed out that the conflict will only be solved with a foreign policy that aims at lasting and sustainable peace, in order to reach a solution that is seen in a positive light by the three religions involved.
