Rol de España en el sistema internacional : diferentes visiones de la política exterior española según los partidos políticos de más reciente creación : el caso de Gibraltar

Abstract

El trabajo académico de fin de grado que se desarrolla a continuación pretende llevar a cabo un análisis de la política exterior española desde la perspectiva de los tres partidos políticos de más reciente creación en nuestro país: Vox, Unidas Podemos y Ciudadanos. Averiguar qué aspectos son comunes a estas tres organizaciones políticas en materia de política exterior y qué cuestiones provocan más controversia servirá para conocer el rol que cada formación política cree que España debe desempeñar en el sistema internacional, siendo éste el principal objetivo de este trabajo. Con todo, se tratará como último fin, de poner en valor la política exterior de nuestro país. Para ello, se definirá en primer lugar qué se entiende por política exterior y qué evolución histórica ha tenido España en este ámbito, para posteriormente pasar a presentar el momento actual y las propuestas que ofrecen los tres partidos a los que ya se ha hecho alusión. Las conclusiones irán orientadas a dar visión de la política exterior diseñada por estas tres formaciones tomando como referencia no solo sus programas electorales sino también las distintas posiciones que han adoptado ante un mismo problema identificable dentro de la política exterior española como es la cuestión de Gibraltar. El futuro de España no se puede elaborar mirando solamente hacia su interior y es por esto por lo que se hace necesario profundizar en el papel que puede y debe desarrollar en el tablero de la política internacional según las proclamas de los partidos de más reciente fundación dentro del panorama político español.

The academic dissertation that follows aims to carry out an analysis of Spanish foreign policy from the perspective of the three most recently created political parties in our country: Vox, Unidas Podemos and Ciudadanos. Finding out what aspects are common to these three political organizations in terms of foreign policy and what issues are most controversial will help to understand the role that each political party believes Spain should play in the international system, which is the main objective of this research. The ultimate aim of this work will be to highlight the value of Spain's foreign policy. To this end, we will first define what is understood by foreign policy and what historical evolution Spain has had in this area, and then proceed to present the current situation and the proposals offered by the three parties to which reference has already been made. The conclusions will be aimed at giving a real picture of the foreign policy designed by these three parties, taking as a reference not only their electoral programs but also the different positions they have adopted in the context of the same easily identifiable problem within Spanish foreign policy, such as the Gibraltar issue. The future of Spain cannot be elaborated by looking only inward and that is why it is necessary to delve into the role that it can and should develop on the international political chessboard according to the proclamations of the youngest parties within the Spanish political scenario.
