Abstract

En este libro se recogen los problemas bioéticos a los que se enfrenta la humanidad provocados por la pandemia de COVID-19: el dilema de la atención a los enfermos con recursos limitados, los problemas éticos del confinamiento, el problema ético del modo de cuidado de los mayores, los problemas de la investigación de fármacos y vacunas y la desigualdad social que ha dejado la pandemia. Todo ello sin olvidar partir de unos buenos datos y apoyados en una sólida fundamentación en los principios de la bioética. Además se hace un recorrido del COVID-19 por el mundo y se dibujan algunas perspectivas bioéticas del mundo post-pandemia

This book collects the bioethical problems that humanity faces caused by the COVID-19 pandemic: the dilemma of caring for patients with limited resources, the ethical problems of confinement, the ethical problem of the way of caring for the elderly, the problems of drug and vaccine research and the social inequality left by the pandemic. All this without forgetting to start from good data and supported by a solid foundation in the principles of bioethics. In addition, a tour of COVID-19 around the world is made and some bioethical perspectives of the post-pandemic world are drawn
