4th E.S.O. Syllabus english a foreign language

Abstract

En este Proyecto se ha elaborado una programación anual de la asignatura de inglés como lengua extranjera para el curso escolar 2019-2020 en 4º de la Educación Secundaria Obligatoria. Con él se pretende fomentar la competencia lingüística y las estrategias comunicativas y de comprensión. Por ello, se ha optado por un diseño de unidades temático, siguiendo un hilo conductor centrado en los viajes. Gracias a este hilo conductor, se pretende que el alumno de 4º de la E.S.O. desarrolle, además, otras competencias clave del currículo, los contenidos ajustados al curso y los objetivos generales y de asignatura adaptados a un nivel B2 (de acuerdo con el MCER) en todas las destrezas del inglés. Mediante el uso de la metodología elegida, se pretende, a su vez, estimular a los alumnos para comunicarse en la lengua inglesa respondiendo a situaciones centradas en contextos reales, para que su aprendizaje sea más significativo. En definitiva, este proyecto busca como fin fomentar los procesos psicológicos superiores y el interés del alumno por la asignatura de inglés como lengua extranjera mediante la creación de problemas ajustados a un contexto real en el que los alumnos puedan aplicar sus conocimientos de la lengua para resolverlos.

In this project it was elaborated an annual syllabus of the English as a Foreign Language subject (EFL) for the 2019-2020 school year in the 4th of Obligatory Secondary Education. It is expected to promote the linguistic competence and the Communicative and Comprehension Approaches. Thus, it was chosen a unit sequencing design in which there is a unifying thread focused on trips. Thanks to this unifying thread, it is expected that the student of 4th E.S.O develops, as well, other key competences belonging to the curriculum, the adjusted contents of the course and the general objectives and objectives for the EFL subject adapted to a B2 level (according to the CEFR) in every skill of the English language. By means of the chosen methodology, it is expected, in turn, to stimulate students to communicate in the English language responding to events of real-life context, in order to achieve a more significative learning. In conclusion, this project has a purpose of promoting the superior psychological processes and the interest of the pupil for the English as a Foreign Language subject by means of the creation of problems adjusted to a real context in which the students can apply their language knowledge to resolve them.
