Influencia de las élites evangélicas en las relaciones internacionales de EEUU

Abstract

El siguiente TFG trata sobre el impacto de los evangélicos en la Política exterior de Estados Unidos. Se tratará el evangelismo en Estados Unidos y la religión en política exterior en Estados Unidos para luego profundizar en el impacto directo de los evangélicos en política exterior. La idea es entender los motivos y los medios por los cuales los evangélicos llegan a tener un impacto en materia de política exterior. Posteriormente se tratará con más detenimiento el conflicto del Estado de Israel. En primer lugar, el marco del conflicto en el que encuadramos el problema. En segundo lugar, las relaciones entre el Estado de Israel y Estados Unidos a lo largo de los últimos años. Por último, estudiaremos como, a través de las relaciones mencionadas anteriormente, los evangélicos con la ayuda de lobbies, organizaciones o de manera directa han influenciado las decisiones del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores estadounidense en el conflicto Palestino-Israelí.

The following thesis deals with the impact of evangelicals on United States foreign policy. Evangelicalism in the United States and religion in foreign policy in the United States will be discussed, followed by an in-depth look at the direct impact of evangelicals on foreign policy. The idea is to understand the motives and means by which evangelicals come to have an impact on foreign policy. Subsequently, the conflict in the State of Israel will be dealt with in more detail. In the first place, the framework of the conflict in which we frame the problem. Second, the relations between the State of Israel and the United States over the last few years. Finally, we will study how, through the relationships mentioned above, evangelicals with the help of lobbies, organizations or directly have influenced the decisions of the US Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
