Hegemonía y feminismo en España : un arma política

Abstract

El feminismo es hoy en España motivo de disputa, debido a las muchas y variadas posiciones políticas que implica defenderlo. Este trabajo de investigación aborda la aplicación de la hegemonía sobre el concepto de “feminismo” en el discurso político del partido español Unidas Podemos, cuya ideología está fuertemente basada e inspirada por la obra de Gramsci, Laclau y Mouffe. Por ello, el marco teórico expone y clarifica el trabajo de estos autores, así como aporta una síntesis sobre las principales corrientes feministas. Una vez expuesta la teoría de la hegemonía y del feminismo, conceptos que este texto pretende relacionar, se estudia el contexto en el que nace este partido político y se realiza una breve exploración de las prácticas hegemónicas empleadas en su manera de hacer política, para finalmente llevar a cabo el análisis del discurso feminista. Este último, realizado a partir del estudio de los manifiestos de la Comisión 8M desde el año 2018, año de la histórica huelga feminista, hasta el 2021, y de la relación de su contenido e ideología con los principios políticos de Podemos.

Feminism is today in Spain a matter of dispute, due to the many and varied political positions involved in defending it. This research paper addresses the application of hegemony over the concept of "feminism" in the political discourse of the Spanish party Unidas Podemos, whose ideology is strongly based on and inspired by the work of Gramsci, Laclau and Mouffe. Therefore, the theoretical framework exposes and clarifies the work of these authors, as well as provides a synthesis of the main feminist currents. Once the theory of hegemony and feminism, concepts that this text intends to relate, has been exposed, the context in which this political party was born is studied and a brief exploration of the hegemonic practices used in its way of doing politics is carried out, to finally carry out the analysis of the feminist discourse. The latter, performed from the study of the manifestos of the 8M Commission from 2018, the year of the historic feminist strike, until 2021, and the relationship of its content and ideology with the political principles of Podemos.
